Mission Statement

Brighton Ballet Theater was created to preserve and further the tradition of classical ballet and Russian folk dance in New York City.

The goals of BBT Company are:

• to serve as a community cultural oasis
• to create a common ground through dance so people of many ethnic and immigrant communities can interact, learn and study other cultures through our performances
• to create family-friendly productions, allowing children and youth, community members and family access to professional productions in underserved communities

Our mission is represented by a commitment to expand the Company's audience and make ballet and folk dance accessible to the widest possible public.
